THROW A PARTY!

Group lessons will be tailored to the specific needs / requirements of the people involved. These can take place anywhere withing a 30 mile radius of Hunstanton... all that is needed is electricity, water and table space for making pots.

A typical group lesson for 8 people:

The event will take about 3 hours and will center around throwing pots on the wheel and could include:

• A brief talk and demonstrations of the different pot making skills, clays and processes.
• A one-to-one lesson on the wheel
  (approximately 20 minutes per person).
• Making and decorating pinch and coil pots and a plaque during the remaining time.
• All equipment provided.

The pots created will be dried and biscuit fired, which will take a few weeks. When finished these can be collected or delivered.

If you would like to glaze your finished pots another session can be arranged.

Cost for above example:

Starting from £18 per person (minimum 4 people)

Additional Costs:

Postage and Packaging (up to 1kg) £5.
Hall hire and travel costs if required.

Our one day workshops enable you to try your hand at pottery, giving an insight into different techniques. The courses are designed for those who want to learn and develop ceramic and pottery skills over a number of sessions. Both are a great way to learn new skills in a fun and friendly environment.
